factory planter
Designer Chiaki Murata has done it again with these three geometrical planters. Neither of Grant’s thumbs are green and even he has no problem keeping this grass growing. And no mowing!
I love bringing the outdoors inside, and this is a perfect way to do it. You can stack them sideways, on top of each other, or just by itself. I have four stacked on top of one another and it’s such an eye catcher. So clean and lovely. Just perfect for summer. And they’re priced so reasonably too!

art aquarium
Who says that fish tanks have to be dull? This one is a piece of art! The Aqua Vista Wall Aquarium is a clever and attractive fish tank that hangs on the wall like a framed painting or flat screen TV. It comes fully assembled and even includes a vivid interchangeable background. You can also pick from different colored wood frames. A fun addition to any room! custom record bowl
This is super neat AND green! I love recycling things in clever ways. And this is one of the most clever ideas I’ve seen in a while. We all have a stack of record albums just laying around taking up space, so why not take one of your non-classics and turn it into a bowl!? I actually have one of these and just love it. My guests always get a kick out of it, and instead of collecting dust in the basement, I have an attractive conversation piece in our game room! Check it out here… at UncommonGoods

table top fireplace

Okay, how cool is this new product?! And stunning?! This oil burning table top fireplace actually gives off warmth as well as light. The stainless steel “logs” and slate bottom make an exciting addition to any table (inside or out).

swing with the plants

I had to get this the second I saw it. And one never to keep a great find to myself, I’m passing it on to you! The seat to this swing is cleverly designed to double as a planter, allowing whatever you choose to plant to grow up the ropes. What a romantic and unique addition to any garden. I think I’m going to plant night jasmin in mine.

grandpa clock

I know you’re thinking, “Amy, you said you only had one clock on your site”, and you’re right, I did. But this isn’t just a clock, it’s a “grandpa clock”, and it’s so darn cool that I KNEW everyone would give me a waiver on this one. This has gone onto “Amy’s Favorite Things” list. This canvas clock isn’t just cool, it actually works! Did I mention it was cool?

ghost candelabra

I love, love , love, this stunning candelabra! So simple, yet so classy. Designer Jon Russell has created one of the most unique acrylic candle holders I’ve seen in a long time. And the price won’t scare you away. Boo!

canvas bordeaux buckets

These are really neat. They’re made of heavy canvas (and faux leather handles), so they stand up straight even if they’re empty. Use them to display any number of things. Personally I keep bottles of wine in mine. Especially Bordeaux!

windshield wine glasses

Okay, some things are clever, and then some things are clever. These wine glasses are made from recycled car windshields! They’re tinted green due to the dye that windshields have to lessen the sun’s glare. They come in a set of two and due to being handmade, each glass will vary slightly. So don’t drink and drive and put your head through a windshield, stay at home and drink FROM a windshield! at UncommonGoods

blooming wrapping paper

Okay, this is one of the neatest new products I’ve stumbled across in a while. This beautiful biodegradable wrapping paper will not only make your gift look lovely, it will also make your garden grow! Each sheet of this handmade paper is embedded with flower seeds. After your gift’s recipient opens their present, they can plant this paper and either annual or perennial wild flowers (your choice) will bloom. Now the wrapping paper’s a gift that keeps on giving. Awesome, right?! at UncommonGoods
